Overview of the Webinar The Center for International Strategic Studies (CISS) held a Webinar on “Two Decades of India-US Strategic Partnership: Impact on Strategic Stability in South Asia,” on November 27th, 2020. The webinar was chaired by Ambassador Ali Sarwar Naqvi, Executive Director CISS. He formally inaugurated the webinar by his welcome and introductory remarks.

Pakistan’s nuclear program has been mired in controversies since its very inception. When Pakistan decided to pursue a military nuclear capability as an insurance against future threats to its security and integrity in the aftermath of the 1971 debacle, the Non-proliferation Treaty (NPT) had already entered into force in 1970. Fortunately, Pakistan had kept its
