Center for International Strategic Studies (CISS) hosted a team of twenty-one Foreign Services Academy (FSA) probationers, accompanied by their Director, Dr. Asma Rabbani for a one-day event of lectures, on October 13, 2021. The objective of the lectures was to familiarize the young diplomats with the subject of nuclear technology and its applications, the evolution of Pakistan’s nuclear program, and nuclear doctrines and deterrence strategies. ED CISS Ambassador Ali Sarwar Naqvi greeted them with welcome remarks and CISS Senior Research Fellows Dr. Naeem Salik, Dr. Mansoor Ahmed, and Dr. Javaid Khurshid delivered lectures on the subject. They were hosted at lunch by CISS team.
