Dr. Syed Javaid Khurshid Distinguished Visiting Fellow delivered a lecture at Auditorium of National Public Institute of Health on Biological Terrorism and Emerging/Reemerging infectious Diseases on October 10, 2018. He emphasized the importance of public health Surveillance for emerging and Remerging diseases and preparedness for biological terrorism and discussed how strongly they are related to each other. He also emphasized to develop an effective Disease Early Warning System and a Vaccine Bank at NIH having essential vaccines for everyone. Dr. Aamer Ikram Executive Director NIH introduced Dr. Syed Javaid Khurshid to the participants. It was attended about 100 doctors and scientists of NIH and the participants of the different course.
