On 11 November 2025, the Center for International Strategic Studies (CISS), Islamabad, hosted a delegation from the China Institutes of Contemporary International Relations (CICIR) led by Dr HU Shisheng, Deputy Secretary-General of the Academic Committee. The delegation included Dr WANG Shida, Deputy Director, Institute for South Asian Studies; Dr LI Wei, Executive Director, Center for Counter-Terrorism Studies; Mr ZHANG Shujian, Associate Research Professor, Institute for South Asian Studies; and Ms DING Xinting, Assistant Research Professor, Institute for South Asian Studies. The two sides exchanged views on Pakistan–China cooperation and regional security dynamics. They reaffirmed that Pakistan and China enjoy a unique relationship, anchored in trust, expanding economic cooperation and a shared commitment to promoting peace and prosperity.
