The Center for International Strategic Studies (CISS), Islamabad, hosted a Round Table Discussion with Ambassador Aizaz Ahmad Chaudhry, Chairman, Sanober Institute, on his book:
“Pakistan-India Relations: Fractured Past, Uncertain Future“
Ambassador Chaudhry noted that Pakistan–India relations remain strained due to four main factors:
- Deep-rooted mutual historical grievances
- The unresolved Jammu and Kashmir dispute
- The political use of the terrorism narrative by India to malign Pakistan internationally
- The idea of a “Greater India†linked to the revival of a past Hindu civilizational glory
The discussion was highly engaging and fruitful, with participants actively contributing in the question-and-answer session.
